The 2017 Subaru Crosstrek - NOW IN STOCK!

Subaru Crosstrek Technology: BOXER Engine

This engine is exclusive to the Subaru family and comes standard on all Crosstrek trims. One of the main differences between the BOXER engine and previous Subaru engines is its positioning. The engine rests lower in the body of the Crosstrek. Likewise, the engine was built with a parallel structure that makes the pistons shift horizontally. This special design lowers the engine's center of gravity and helps it run smoothly and more efficiently.

All-Wheel Drive

All-wheel drive is normally a luxury marketed as an optional feature for most vehicles. Now Subaru has given the feature to all of its Crosstrek automobiles. This crossover's all-wheel drive is built symmetrically to give the vehicle added traction when driving on slippery surfaces.

Subaru EyeSight Assist Technology

This driver assist technology is available for the 2.0i Premium and Limited Edition trims. EyeSight technology is comprised of Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Sway and Departure Warning, and Lane Keep Assist. With driver assist technology, drivers have an extra pair of eyes and ears on the road.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control is so high powered that it adjusts your vehicle's speed for you. It uses two cameras connected to the rearview mirror to watch the road and monitor the pace of surrounding traffic.
  • Pre-Collision Braking is one of Subaru's premium safety features. It consists of an audio-visual alert system that warns drivers of an impending collision. It even automatically applies your brakes to halt your vehicle.
  • Lane Sway and Departure Warning helps you to stay in your lane while driving. The sensors notice any sudden movements to either side of the road and gently steers the vehicle back to the middle of the lane.
  • Lane Keep Assist is an extension of the departure warning system. It's the formal name for the automatic steering feature the vehicle enacts when you sway too far out of your lane.

STARLINK is the name of Subaru's infotainment system available for all Subaru Crosstrek vehicles. Passengers can easily navigate the interface using the touchscreen monitor. They simply connect their smartphone directly to the vehicle to use the monitor as a personal computer. Now you can text, listen to music, or even read a book using the screen. Drivers can also manage the vehicle's maintenance notifications and diagnostic reports with the monitor.
