Barbecue is one of the most satisfying cooking styles during warmer weather, although, nothing complements some tangy and savory meats like craft beer. If this appeals to you, then you’re in luck. The BBQ & Craft Beer Festival is on its way, so we’re going to give you the important details so you can enjoy some great food and drink.

BBQ & Craft Beer Festival Event Details

 You don’t have to scrounge trying to make Labor Day Weekend plans because the BBQ & Craft Beer Festival is happening all weekend. The Festival begins at on Saturday, September 3rd, and goes until Monday September 5th at Monmouth Park. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m., but don’t worry; that’s plenty of time for you to enjoy some delicious barbecue and sample a wide variety of craft beer.

Admission to the BBQ & Craft Beer Festival is only $5; however, children 12 and under get in for free. The final two days of the festival are Family Fun days. These days will feature a variety of fun activities for you and your whole family to enjoy. Some of these activities will help you build up your hunger for more delicious barbecue.

Three Days of BBQ & Craft Beer

I f you were already planning on indulging in grilled meats and sipping on some flavorful and diverse beers all Labor Day Weekend, this event is your destination. The Monmouth Park Racetrack is hosting this fun event. Bring your bibs and wet wipes so you can prepare for what this event has to offer.

Whether you want ribs, pulled pork or beef brisket, this event will have several options of barbecue meats for you to choose from. Sample some of the garden state’s best BBQ at this festival that are sure to leave your mouth watering for more.

To wash down some of the delicious smoked and grilled meats, you can sample a variety of beer from the Craft Beer Garden. This area of the festival will feature more than 40 different craft beers. You can get 10 2oz samples for only $10. Whether you want something hoppy, fruity, zesty or bitter, you can find everything you’re looking for.

Even though this is the BBQ & Craft Beer Festival, there’s more than just meats and ale. There will be a variety of vendors in attendance. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with Cold Stone Creamery, House of Cupcakes and Kona Ice. Your BBQ options are supplied by Mary Queen of Pork, One Big Party BBQ, Surf BBQ and Chop Shop BBQ, among many others serving up hot and delicious barbecue flavors.

This event will also host some entertainment for you to enjoy while you’re indulging in some delicious food and drink. Live music will occur all throughout the festival. You can even enjoy some live Thoroughbred horse races.
