You don't have to stress this holiday season over where you and your family can go for some fun holiday activities. If you live in Freehold, Farmingdale, or Manalapan you can look right in your backyard for some of the best holiday events in New Jersey. Freehold Tree Lighting Ceremony  Dec 2nd, 5-7pm

One of the perfect ways to start out a holiday season is with a tree lighting ceremony. This year, take the family down to the Hall of Records and watch with your entire community as a huge Christmas tree illuminates downtown Freehold.

Breakfast with Santa: Multiple Dates

Your kids will jump at the opportunity to have breakfast with Santa in downtown Freehold this year. And this year, you have multiple opportunities to catch him before he heads back to the North Pole. On Saturday, Dec. 6, Santa will be at Café 360 from 9am-12:30pm. Santa will be eating at Sweet Lews Café on Saturday, Dec. 13th from 9am-12:30pm. Santa's last day in Freehold will be Sunday, Dec. 14th, where he will be at the American hotel from 10:30am-2:30pm. Its a good idea to make reservations to make sure that you can see Santa and give him your Christmas list!

Freehold Jolly Trolley Dec. 12th, 5-8pm and Dec. 13th, 4-8pm

The annual Freehold Jolly Trolley is a great way to get the family out of the house for some holiday activities. The Jolly Trolley will take you on a Christmas themed tour, featuring Christmas carols and maybe even a visit from Santa Claus, showcasing the historical landmarks of downtown Freehold. Starting at the Hall of Records, this is a great way to learn about your community's history and with a holiday twist. Tickets are limited, so purchase them early!

A Freehold Fa-la-la!  Dec. 12th, 7:30pm

The Freehold Borough Arts Council is inviting the entire Freehold community to the St. Rose of Lima RC Church on McLean St. for a festival holiday concert and community carol sing-a-long. The concert will feature members of the Arcadian Choral as well as the Freehold Borough High School Chamber Choir. Come out to support your community singers and for some holiday cheer.

Freehold Holiday Carolers  Dec. 18th  20th, 6-8pm

Each year, Freehold hosts downtown carolers who go door-to-door and spread Christmas cheer. You'll experience the beautiful voices of the JERS Acapella group and Jo Wymers Rhythm and Rhyme group. Bring the whole family to downtown Freehold for sing-a-longs and holiday cheer.
