Central Jersey Irish Festival Event Details

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) are the hosts of the Central Jersey Irish Festival. The festival itself will kick off on May 13th beginning at 10:00 AM and ending at 6:00 PM. The festival will be held at the picturesque Lake Topanemus Park at 150 Robertsville Road in Freehold, NJ. The entry fee for this festival is only $5, but for festival goers under the age of 14, or members of the AOH, the event is free of charge. Parking will be available in the park, but there’s additional handicapped parking located at 252 Pond Road in Freehold.

What to Expect at the Central Jersey Irish Festival

The Central Jersey Irish Festival is sure to be a great time for everyone. The opening invocation kicks off the festival at 10:00 AM, with the awards ceremony following at 10:30 AM. The awards that are to be given out are the Irishman of the Year award and the Hibernian of the Year award for members of two different divisions of the AOH. After the invocation and awards, the festival will commence with fun, food, and entertainment.

This fun-filled festival will feature live entertainment from different musical acts like Sean Hennessy, Blackwater, and Poor Man’s Gambit, along with the Shamrock & Thistle Pipe Band to supply festival attendees with new and traditional Celtic music to help them live the experience. There will also be family-friendly games and activities that you can participate in during the performances to add to your fun-filled afternoon. Of course, there will also be a variety of vendors at the festival.

Attendees can enjoy delicious and authentic Irish cuisine that’ll be available all throughout the festival from different vendors. There will even be plenty of local artisans selling Irish-related clothing, crafts, trinkets, and artwork. Irish ales will also be available at the Central Jersey Irish Festival for attendees 21 and over.
